WhatsApp new update AI based chat | Trending Tech News

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a natural part of life in today’s digital world. Many people and organizations across the world, including India, are relying on artificial intelligence for various tasks. The popular messaging platform WhatsApp has introduced a shortcut for AI-based chats. This newly launched feature is expected to improve the user experience. Mark Zuckerberg, head of Meta (the parent company of WhatsApp), initially made this AI chat shortcut available to Android Beta testers. Due to this currently selected WhatsApp users will get this benefit.

How to use AI based chat shortcut

The presence of AI chatbots in WhatsApp has been visible for the past few years. However, after the latest update to Android Beta (version 2.23.24.26), a shortcut for AI chat is also appearing separately in the chat tab of WhatsApp. With this, users don’t have to go through the trouble of starting a new ‘special’ chat, as this shortcut will enter directly into the AI chat, without navigating the contact list.

It seems that Meta has cleverly placed the new AI chat shortcut in the chat tab so that users are well aware of the new tool and can also make artificial intelligence-centric interactions a habit with their regular app usage. But WhatsApp has not said anything about when it will be made available to everyone instead of beta users.

In the past few months, WhatsApp has introduced multiple features like personal chat lock, photo/video share option in HD mode, message edit button, channels etc. The platform has even added multi-account login, an option to use two different mobile number accounts in one WhatsApp app. Now, this new artificial intelligence-based chat tool can make a direct impact on the minds of users. A positive response is expected from users around the world.
