Kung Fu Panda 4: New cast, release date and story

Our beloved hero Po is back in ‘Kung Fu Panda 4’ after eight long years. The trailer, released by Universal Pictures, is two minutes and 27 seconds long. It begins with Po trying to follow Master Shifu’s advice but struggling with meditation. The mischief continues, and we see glimpses of Tai Lung, the leopard-style kung fu master, along with other familiar characters like Tigress, Monkey, Mantis, Viper and Crane.

Set eight years after ‘Kung Fu Panda 3,’ the story follows Po on a new mission to find the next dragon warrior. A new enemy, the Chameleon, enters the scene. As the plot unfolds, Po is chosen as the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace.

Directed by Mike Mitchell, the film introduces new voice cast members. Jack Black, who played Po, interacts with Viola Davis in a social media update. Returning cast members include Ian McShane as Tai Lung, Bryan Cranston as Li Shan, James Hong as Mr. Ping, Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu, Angelina Jolie as Master Tigress, and Jackie Chan as Master Monkey.

The official release date for ‘Kung Fu Panda 4’ is March 8, 2024. DreamWorks Animation shared this exciting update on social media. The trailer has a mix of humor, action, and the charm we love from the Kung Fu Panda franchise.
