The iQOO 12 smartphone series debuted in China in the first half of last month. A total of two models are included under this lineup. The new models called iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro. The standard model of the series entered the Indian market yesterday (12th December). Please note that all the features of the global and Indian versions of the iQOO 12 phone are the same.
The flagship smartphone has a 1.5K display panel with 144 Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the latest Android 14 based Operating System, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit, VC liquid cooling system and support 120W superfast wired charging technology. But naturally the difference will be seen in the selling price. Like its predecessor, the ‘Pro’ variant of the series will be available only in China. Specifications
The design of the iQOO 12 smartphone is quite different from its predecessor iQOO 11 model. It comes with a flat and glossy aluminum alloy frame. Both the Legend and Alpha colour variants of the device offer a glass rear panel. The iQOO 12 smartphone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. It will be available with 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Android 14 based Funtouch OS 14 will be available as an operating system.
The iQOO 12 smartphone features a triple camera unit on the rear panel. These cameras are 50-megapixel primary sensor, 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 64-megapixel periscope sensor with 3x zoom support. Meanwhile, the front of the device has a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. Talking about other specifications, this phone comes with VC liquid cooling system and Q1 display chip for better gaming experience. Finally, the new iQOO 12 smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh capacity battery, which supports 120W wired charging.
